a tribute, to the year 2006..

hey peeps.. by the time this is up,it probably means, the year 2006 is thru and done. im gna try to be simple and straight to the point so forgive the lack of pictures.

as we all know well, us, the class of 2006, finally close our chapter of school life. all the years sitting in the classrooms in sad uniforms are now long gone. the teachers, the pj sessions, our canteen.. now only memories that we can only visit in our heads (unless u wanna resit form5 la, go ahead im not stopping u. haha)

the year 2006, well..honestly, it didnt really start out so great for me. and more or less, the people close to me know why. thanks guys, u really helped me thru alot. i was entered into the class of 5 Keledang and heck, i had no idea what i was getting into.

a new girl classmate, new friends, new teachers.. those were only a fraction of the joys i had. my band had more gigs and i can say we learned alot. as usual, i joined the school athletics team for my final time to compete, and i made an effort to get thru to the state lvl.. (or was is daerah) kuz it was my last year. those days.. going to that stupid stadium, are now treasures to me. man.. i miss them..

my friendships grew.. some turned ways i nvr expected them to, some grew further apart, some grew closer than i ever thought it could be. but nevertheless, my friends i have gained throughout these years will forever be friends to me. through thick and thin. my highschool friends have shown me, which people call u friends and which people are your friends.

the middle of the year saw the most drama brought into my life. having the fling of all flings with the last person imaginable.. to a girl that would change me forever. to getting to know all sorts of people, who would place a mark in my life. this was where the heat of the year was..

and having spm at the end of the year, well.. whats there to say? its spm. haha.

and so, the year has passed, and well, i thought i'd take a while to type out a few tributes to a few friends.. im sry if a few names dont appear here aight. its not that ur unimportant to me, its just that i cant find much to say.. and im kinda writing this out based on the chances these people might actually be reading them.. so yeah, for the names that are here click on them and take a look at what ive got written out for ya.. i have to say tho, its been like making a speech for receiving an oscar.. haha..

its the year end already? man that was quick..

hey peeps.. whtsup?

it just dawned upon me it's already the end of december. u know, this year end, didnt feel a thing like a normal year end wud feel..mabye its kuz of the spm.. or i dont know la.. its just so.. nothing..

yday i had to wake up at beautiful 6.45am to get to the driving office to get fetched down to taman jaya to take a test that only happened at 11.30am.. oh sweet joy. but everything went well. haha.. i took 9minit 4saat to finish the stupid test and to my friggin surprise.. i passed! haha.. and i hardly read a thing.. 48/50 man.. god-like la man.. admit it, i rock. haha..

anyways.. im supposed... "supposed".. to post up something regarding the pangkor trip. to make things short and simple, darren did a awesome job organizing the whole thing.. it totally rocked..alright guys, get rdy.. its ming's turn to blog abt pangkor.. haha. my suggestion: unless u really have nothing else to do, read one day at a time.. im blogging all 3 days out.

here's the whole gang of us who went.. and yeah, thats typical kovieen who doesnt wanna put his face in any picture unless u force him to..



Day One..
early on the 17th we arrived in pudu raya to be greeted by a friggin shitload of busses, taxis,cars ,what have you; and exhaust, armpit odour and oily smells pushed up our noses.

the bus left 10mins late and we were on our way. the whole trip there took around 3 hours and the ferry ride was a mere 20mins. not exactly the most fun thing but yeah, we did what we had to to get there. we had a rather good lunch between the bus and ferry rides at a mamak stall near the jeti.i think we missed the first ferry ride there rite? we had to catch the next one. haha..


we checked into a nice bit little hotel called The Coral Bay. got our rooms and headed straight for the beach. day one was more on the low side with us getting used to our new surroundings. it was a really great place to stay tho, with mamak's nearby, a mini mart, gift shops, a pub and a friggin good chinese restaurant and well.. the beach. all just a few steps away.. so the whole gang unpacked our stuff into the rooms and all of us headed down to the beach..it isnt any Club Med beach.. but hey, the company made up for it..

this really looks nice, but its like.. a 10feet drop at the back of me, off the rocks im standing on..

so yeah.. we spent the late afternoon at the beach til it suddenly began pouring like mad. we had to run all the friggin way back.. darren and i supposedly had a race to carry may and ril on our backs back to the hotel kuz they were unable to run due to dressing reasons.. haha.. but heck it was fun..

the nights however.. were a whole different story. we people only wake up at night.. haha. anyways.. we got a great dinner and went stargazing.. man, it was absolutely beautiful. the skies in pangkor at night are totally breathtaking. we spent a good few hours just looking up into the night sky while that nightishness-romantic-feel-thing came over all of us. which was a good sign to get up and go back before any of us gave anyone a free show on the beach. haha..

sddnly.. someone came up with the idea to rent some bikes.. and yeah we did. like retarded mad monkeys we did. half the roads were pitch black and here we have a whole group or spastic baboons riding hell loose.. despite a few minor accidents it was really fun. it made all off us feel so.. young.. again. haha..

then it was back to the hotel rooms.. *ahem*.. yeah. hey we're good kids okay. nothing illegal happened. i think. haha. but anyhow's, jeffrey introduced a new friend to all of us. Jack Daniel, great guy seriously. Yi Lyn fell for him instantly.. but the rest of us managed to keep ourselves proper.. well,almost.. haha.. the guys were playing cards, the girls were taking more pictures and well, we had a blast.. with our new friend of course..how could we forget him? haha..

may and cheryl..the only two NOT from keledang. spent the whole 3 days with them.. 24/7. it felt so.. bodyguard-ish.. seriously, leave them a sec and all kinds of pangkor dicks try hitting on them. niama puki.. lol.. but nvrtheless it was great with you two! it was really fun.. finally after how many years, we finally get to spend some time togther..

well.. that more or less covers up the first day. i went back to my room round 2am for more chat with darren, may and cheryl for an hour or so and everyone crashed the second the lights went out..




Day Two..
having gotten up a good 2 and a half hours late for breakfast, i waited as the girls suited up for the beach activities.. we headed straight down to the beach where sashi had already gotten the gang a boat and a guide for island hopping. after a few of the guys and girls banana boated.. and laid belly-down on some hell-bound mat and got dragged across the sea with yi lyn flying off halfway.. we geared up and got into the.. boat.. sampan.. speedboat.. whatever its called la.. boat.

we spent the rest of the afternoon getting ferried around from so-called "tourist attraction sites" which werent really much, snorkling, feeding fish, hanging around a deserted island with an out-of-place ramli burger store (seriously, there's this dude with the stall and everything selling burgers in the middle of nowhere) and speeding back home in the rain..

the whole thing was friggin fun. tho the water was not as clear as Langkawi's or any other snorkling places im sure u rich asses have been to, i can say we had a good time.

jeff and kov caught a few baby fish which all died even before we started the journey back,

may n i collected some weird snails and some other sea-thing.. we didnt know what they were but they died anyway.

the ride back? man.. better than riding a roller coaster la i tell u.. haha. so we got back to the beach near our hotel and walked back in the pouring rain.. again. but we were really fortunate it didnt rain til we were on the way back. we cleaned up and all and went for dinner.

and had another great night. haha.. need i say more? let the pictures do the talking again shall we?

yeap.. thats two whole days for you... went back to the room for more cards and chat. ate ... 3 packs of instant noodles.. ended up giving darren a friggin leg massage kuz all of a sudden he got some weird cramp that almost killed him. haha. u owe me ur life dude.. played my guitar and taught may a little more guitar continuing from what she learned the night before.. hey! and cheryl teared when i sang! i was so touched okayyy!! haha.. gosh man.. seriously scared the heck outta me.. i was like.. "dude my singing suck so bad ka?" haha.. but glad it was otherwise la.. thankyu cheryl! haha.. took some pics. and talked and talked till everyone dozed off..




Day Three..
after the first night, a few of us grew a little more sane and cut down on the drinks. and cheryl, may, darren and i made an effort to actually get up and friggin eat the breakfast that the hotel gave us for free..which turned out to be nothing much. darren and i ate the hotel outta bread tho. haha. kept us going til we got home..

so after most of them got up, all of us got our stuff packed up, headed down to the lobby to take a few more pictures.. and checked out..

as usual, malaysian time for checking out at 12pm means 1.30 so yeah.. more or less everyone only came down around that time.. good thing they didnt charge us no extra fees or nuts..

i am happy to say i finally helped to take one picture.. haha

we took two taxi's to the jetty and went to pangkor town. the group split up and went shopping their own ways.. some went to eat some just walked some did nothing bla bla bla.. really small town that one there. the shops all sell more or less the same things too..

we ALMOST missed the ferry back when we were deciding whthr we shud have lunch there. good thing we didnt. got on the ferry which took us to the bus which took us back to pudu.. man.. it was friggin jammed in k.l.. we actually decided to go somewher to eat but it seemed that everyone died somewhere along the last 10mins of the ride home and everyone decided to go back..

darren, xueer and i went for some well deserved kfc. haha.. chickennnnn!

my dear june.. we've been thru one heck of a time havent we huh? form5 and form4.. man the difference between both of them.. haha.

and yeah, its already been said a thousand times before but i just wanna make it known again. thanks for everything. uve shown life on both its ends, lighter and darker.. uve given me the benchmark for a real friendship.. and probably.. the ukuran piawai for a girlfriend.. haha.. unit June (JgSm-1) haha.. thick, thin, cold, blaze, up's, down's.. uve been thru everything with me and ive done my best to be just the same for you.

its that time again..

haha.. hey peeps. im finally updating. and yes, tons and tons of stuff has happened since my last one so i shall skim thru as many many other blogs of friends of ours have already posted posts upon posts of the following events..


1. Prom
ah yes.. the overrated prom.. honestly, it was. i was expecting tonss more than what actually happened. haha. and no, im not complaining about my awful friggin effed up performance at all.

aight, so the nite started out with me in a taxi with my two faithful guitars driving down to kl. suit, tie, shirt, cologne, shoes check. everything cud be as perfect for me.my dear prom date looked absolutely gorgeous, friends were everywhere with smiles on their faces.. oh the food sucked by the way.. and unfortunately the dj had to be an ass and NOBODY had a decent slowdance the whole evening.

cut short, yeah.. i expected more...


2. Day After Prom
having a beautiful 4 hour rest, i woke up the next day rushing to get ready for a pepsi ad shoot at 1pm downtown in liquid (yes thats the gay club, no there were no gays present thankyou) it was fun. met up with and old friend and i met Joey G.. haha.. he's whack la. nice to talk to.. and he even talks to the pepsi can! WooOoOW!

at 5 i rushed from liquid to Shangri La.. for the Wesley Methodist prom gig. long story short, my band has seriously no fate to perform in our own school. TELL ME WHY IS IT THAT WHEN WE DO WE SOUND LIKE DYING GIRAFFES BUT WHEN WE ARE SOMEWHER ELSE EVERYTHING GOES JUST PERFECTLY? *breathe* aight..


3. Pangkor Class Trip
haha, and yes the most memorable event of the year. totally superbly wicked fun.. how bout i save this for a next post? haha...

sorry for the lack of pictures as i am so dam lazy to upload anymore.. my blogging aura has left me long since the spm was over.. yeah, id rather stop posting up stuff already.. and go back to what blogging was to me before..

aight... so for me, its barely been 4 days since spm finished. four days! wow.. heck it feels like its been forever la.. i guess the fun of it all hasnt settled down yet...

i mean yeah sure, its great to be free from having to look at any single book already but i guess for me, the after-spm feeling isnt as hyped up as i thought it would be.. well, not for now i guess.

my time recently has been filled with well, a few things..

1. band practice
2. sleep
3. bday parties
4. formal parties
5. parties for the sake of parties
6. yam cha-ing with old friends
7. sleep
8. more band practice
9. onlining
   
10. and last but not least getting ready for prom

well, yeah.. thats more or less probably it. so whenever im online it mostt probably means ive already crawled from my room to the computer kuz ive eaten every last single thing in my house.

so far, the most tiring day and eventful time of these 4 days of overrated freedom, has to be yesterday and today..

• woke up arnd ten in the morning (okay, maybe i got out of the room after waking up at 7, sometime at 8 and lazing around in bed from 9 til ten.. its that stupid waking up for school la.. my body clock nids to get rid of the early risings..)
• started downloading tabs, lyrics and practiced my guitar and piano for the prom gigs.
• lunch at 1 sth and straight to charles' place for band..
• band till 6 sth.. went home and straight to a bbq party my dear Constance brought me..
• bbq-ed till 9 sth.. and went to mike's party..
• then i went home and changed and went to help out at a camp running in my church til 4am at night..
• woke up at 9 and went back to church to help out and got back at 11sth...
• slept till half an hour ago and now im here..

wow? ka-puiii la.. haha..i thnk i really gota get some job soon or something.. after the prom gigs and the class trip, ima job hunt

so yeah, thats it for now.. life's boring. gna call her up and ask for another kai-kai tonite.. haha.. i love some people..

my band's having a gig in the Sheraton Hotel on the 14th of Dec. if any of u ppl wanna come watch ( and it's free dont worry u kiam siap chi la kas ) just tell me or sth k.. or just show up there on that nite around 8.30- 9.00 .. im not sure abt the time but i'll update it here when i am.. if u DO plan on showing up just say ur with the band from SMDU and they'll let u in. haha..

inform me first tho.. k? they've a limit to how many can come so yea.
